Amy has experience as a corporate law clerk in law firms and legal departments dating back to 2002. Her expertise includes handling all aspects of corporate and transactional matters including incorporations, amalgamations, amendments, dissolutions and other fundamental changes, conducting due diligence and minute book reviews, preparing updates for corporations, preparing business name, corporate and limited partnership registrations, extra-provincial registration of corporations and limited partnerships as well as related filings across Canada, preparing annual resolutions, and conducting general maintenance of minute books for corporations, partnerships and trusts. Before joining AUM Law in 2017, Amy gained experience on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses and real property financings. Amy also is experienced in intellectual property matters and has assisted with preparing family trusts, wills and powers of attorney.
