David’s practice is focused on corporate and securities law. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and registration and regulatory matters for advisers, dealers and investment fund managers. David also advises reporting issuers in connection with continuous disclosure, corporate governance and stock exchange listings, and clients on the formation and management of investment funds.

Prior to joining AUM Law, David was counsel at Dentons Canada LLP where he advised on corporate and securities law, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, continuous disclosure, corporate governance and stock exchange listings, as well as registration and regulatory matters. Prior to this role, David was Senior Legal Counsel in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, where his work included policy relating to continuous disclosure, short form prospectus offerings, security holder communication and the reformulation of National Policy 48 - Future-Oriented Financial Information. David also spent 11 years at Fasken Martineau where his practice focused on corporate and securities law, particularly corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
